Chris Riley
Chris and Amber came to FBC Idalou in May 2018. Amber is a diagnostician with EPEC Co-Op in Lorenzo. They have two married children. Bryson is married to Tobie and is the Youth Pastor at FBC Abernathy. Dawson is married to Brandon, who is the Youth Pastor at FBC Brownfield.
Chris is a volunteer firefighter in Idalou and also umpires high school and college softball. Together, Chris and Amber love to travel, watch NASCAR, and compete in archery events in the area. They are proud grandparents as well!
Efrain Gonzalez
Efrain is married to Jennifer and has 2 children, Lexi and Jacob (both students at Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX). Efrain and Jennifer met while attending Wayland Baptist University and both graduated from there. Efrain with a BA in Religion and Jennifer with a BS in Biology and MA in Psychology.
He and Jennifer have been married for over 20 years and have been serving in full-time ministry for over 20 years as well. His desire is to help students Love God, Love Others, and Make Christ Known.
Alan Fruge
Alan has a Bachelor of Music in Piano and Voice Education from the University of Louisiana Lafayette and a Masters of Music with Voice Concentration from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.
He loves leading the family of God in worship and celebrating all the things God is doing in our lives as we serve Him together! He has two wonderful adult kids (Jonathan & Hanna), two amazing kids by marriage (Susie & Kenyon), and is the proud Pea Paw to three amazing grandkids (Aayden, Charlotte & Shirley).
Mary McKinnon
Mary is married to Rick and has 3 daughters: twins Cassidy & Hailey, and Madison. All three girls are 2022 Idalou High School graduates attending South Plains College in medical care fields.
Mary is responsible for secretarial and bookkeeping duties. She enjoys helping in all areas of the church as needed and keeps the church office running smoothly every week!
